About Us
I am honored to be able to provide a way for families to
learn more about their baby wearing options and to make sure that
everyone is safe and comfortable with their babycarrier.
I knew that I wanted to wear our baby before she was even born. I had a few carriers before her birth, but did not really know how to use them. With the help of the internet, I learned a lot more about babywearing and incorporated it into my family's daily life. Wearing our daughter provided her with security and allowed us to keep her nearby while I went about our day.
I
started the Blossom Birth Babywearing group to provide others with a
place to learn how to wear their baby. When the opportunity arose to
take the courses necessary to become a babywearing instructor through
the Babywearing Institute,
I jumped at the opportunity. I have completed my exams and am now a
Certified Babywearing Instructor and co-teach Slings and Things: The Art
of Babywearing with Amy at Blossom.
I am also a Volunteer Babywearing Educator with the South Bay branch of Babywearing International.
